The Speed Friending events are warm, friendly and relaxed events, where people can meet new people, build friendships, and feel a sense of belonging.
“Amica” comes from the Latin root meaning friendship and friendly warmth. Our events are open to everyone - all ages, backgrounds and genders. If you’re looking to meet new people, chat, laugh, and make genuine connections - you are very welcome here.
Hi, I’m Emma
I started these speed friending events as a simple way to gather people together in a slightly different way – think of it as a relaxed, fun version of speed dating, but slower and all about making new friends instead of finding romance.
The vision is to and bring people together with a share purpose of making new friends to try to help liberate people from loneliness and isolation.
How it works
Come join us for a fun evening of speed friending in Brighton or Worthing - meet new people, make friends, and have a great time!
Think of it as a relaxed, fun version of speed dating, but instead of romance, it’s all about making new friends. The aim is to create an easy-going, welcoming space where you can have genuine conversations, share some laughs, and hopefully leave with a few new connections.
Meet between 8 to 10 people for mini 8 minute chats.
